On March 25, representatives from Xi’an Shiyou University braved the rain to inspect the first campus of Samarkand International College which was under renovation.
Uzbekistan Datang Investment Company, a subsidiary of Dayuan Industrial Group, officially launched the river project in Ishtihan City, Samarkand Province, with a total investment of US$1.5 billion to build the most attractive new city in Central Asia. The project focuses on the management of the Akdaniya River and builds a modern demonstration new city integrating commercial centers, high-end residences, higher education clusters, medical resources, new industrial parks, commercial style blocks and cultural tourism complexes. After the project is completed, it will become a benchmark international industrial-city integration demonstration zone in the Samarkand region, promoting high-quality and diversified development of the regional economy.
In order to promote the localized production of Uzbekistan’s Maotai-flavor liquor (state banquet and national gift level) and realize the complete implementation of the ancient Kunsha craftsmanship of Maotai-flavor liquor, Feichi Liquor Industry and the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan reached an important consensus on cooperation in sorghum planting. Due to the lack of sorghum planting foundation in Uzbekistan, Feichi Liquor Industry, with the strong support of the Samarkand State Government, successfully introduced high-quality sorghum seeds and selected Ishtihan City as the first trial planting base.
